Gundala 2019

Gundala in her story wore a purple costume with a mask that had wing ornaments on the left and right ears.

In creating Gundala, Hasmi was inspired by Javanese legend Ki Ageng Selo, the Lightning Catcher.

Gundala defeated his enemies with a number of special powers sourced from lightning.

Since its first comic was published in 1969, Gundala has been a legendary figure in Indonesian illustrated stories until now.

Gundala comics have been released 23 titles until 1982.

The Gundala film tells the story of Sancaka who has lived on the streets since his parents left him.

Starting from a genius researcher named Sancaka.

He found anti-drive serum. Because of the preoccupation with finding his findings, he forgot his birthday.

As a result, their relationship broke up. The broken Sancaka was upset. He ran in the pouring rain, and lightning struck.

In a coma, he was pulled by a force from another planet and adopted by the king of the Lightning Kingdom who was titled Emperor Kronz.

So he is blessed with super abilities. Able to emit gledek from the palm of his hand.

King Taifun of the Bayu kingdom also gave him the strength to run as fast as the wind.

From then on, at certain times, he appeared as a champion of crime suppressers dressed in tight black with red shoes and loincloths.

His face was covered with a mask, only visible eyes and mouth, on the side of the mask were decorations like bird wings.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

Universal Pictures shouldn't put the word Fast & Furious in the title of the film titled Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Because in terms of the story of this film has absolutely no connection with the Fast & Furious film series.

It just so happened that two characters, Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), had appeared in the Fast & Furious film series. Of the eight films, Hobbs appeared four times and Shaw appeared three times.

The two hour and 15 minute films tell the story of Hobbs and Shaw who are forced to work together to complete the mission. They are asked to save Shaw's sister, Hattie (Vanessa Kirby), and secure the deadly virus.

The mission is not easy to carry out because Brixton (Idris Elba) wants to take the virus for evil purposes. Brixton is hard to beat because he is a half-human robot that is strong, even he calls himself as Black Superman.

From the beginning to the end of the film there is no part of the story that really relates to the Fast & Furious film series. There is a very little explanation about the character of Hobbs and Shaw. It is known, they had been in different camps in the Fast & Furious film series so it was difficult to work together.

Like when they were first met and explained that they would work together on one mission, the two taunted each other. Each feels the greatest of them and boasts of things that have been done.

The ability of Johnson and Statham in action movies is already in no doubt. Almost every scene they performed well. It was natural because both of them did have a basis for martial arts.

Even so, many scenes that make too much sense. Like when going down the building using a rope with bare hands, Hobbs's hands are not blister or bloody at all. Yes, this is indeed a film, but the scene feels too forced.

From beginning to end in this movie too many comedy elements are inserted, both in the action scenes or between dialogues. The insertion of such comedy elements is indeed done by many films and is liked by the audience.

But in the end, this movie only feels like an ordinary action movie starring Johnson and Statham, without any connection to Fast & Furious. Mentioning as a loose movie Fast & Furious and writing the words Fast & Furious in the title just to attract the audience.

In addition, there are some lies in the film directed by this film. Like Shaw and Hattie's parents, Magdalene Shaw (Helen Miren), who goes to jail. There is no detailed description of this.
