The original director of the film Sinister namely Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Deliver Us From Evil) does not return is behind the camera, but the film is directed by Ciaran Foy (Citadel), from distributor Focus Features and will hit theaters on August 21 2015.
